Welcome to inlingua Victoria College of Languages and Careers! We are an Official Paragon Test Centre providing CELPIP and CAEL tests to the Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. We strive to ensure that all our candidates receive a consistently positive personable experience when they register for the tests, on the test day and after they receive their test results. Our dedicated Test Centre team is organized, friendly and provides strong support to all test takers to keep the test day running smoothly.

Conveniently located in downtown Victoria on Government Street, inlingua Victoria test Centre is steps away from the Inner Harbour of Victoria in the heart of Downtown and close to all major bus routes. For those travelling to the centre by car, inlingua Victoria has an underground parkade and lots of other parking nearby.

Types of Test
CELPIP
The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) Test allows test takers to demonstrate their ability to function in English. The test clearly, accurately, and precisely assesses a test taker’s English abilities in a variety of everyday situations, such as communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, interacting with friends, understanding newscasts, and interpreting and responding to written materials.
There are two types of CELPIP tests to choose from. Make sure to confirm which version of the test you are required to take.
CELPIP – General Test
Evaluates test taker’s English speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills and is used for permanent residence applications and professional designations. Takes approximately 3 hours to complete and can be done in one sitting with no separate speaking session
CELPIP – General LS Test
Evaluates test taker’s English speaking and listening skills and is used for citizenship applications and professional designation. Takes approximately 1 hour to complete and can be done in one sitting with no separate speaking session.
CAEL
The Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Test is a standardized test designed to determine the level of English language proficiency of test takers planning to study in an English-medium college or university, or to apply for membership in various professional associations.
Total Test Time Is About 3.5 Hours
